CascadiaNow! is seeking new Board Members

We are so grateful for your interest in working with CascadiaNow! (CN!). Today, CascadiaNow! is one of a handful of fiscal sponsorship organizations in Washington State, and serves programming throughout the entire Cascadia bioregion. We sponsor projects that support our mission of cultivating a resilient and inclusive Pacific Northwest community. The CN! Board of Directors is a group of Cascadians who voluntarily contribute time, expertise, and financial support to help CN! maximize its positive impact across the bioregion. The primary responsibilities of the Board are:

• Make policy decisions and adopt organizational policies

• Actively recruit new board members

• Work together with CN! Staff in grant research and writing

• Review and approve annual budgets and review quarterly financial data

• Build relationships with CN! supporters 

• Assist with fundraising campaigns

• Actively participate in one committee

• Hold one officer role

• Commit to an annual financial contribution

• Represent CN! in a friendly, positive and compassionate manner

• Attend regularly scheduled board meetings (approximately 9/year) and quarterly committee meetings (All meetings are remote as we have members across the Cascadia Bioregion)

• Attend one Board Retreat (scheduled every other year)

Board members are elected for a 2-year term and may serve additional terms. Upon completion of a term, if the Board Member is stepping down, it is strongly preferred that they nominate a replacement for their Board Position.
